Section of Theatre Architecture and Technology
Section located on the balcony and terrace of the Central Hall of the Industrial Palace exhibited the most interesting realization of theatres that have taken place over the past 4-5 years. The displays could include permanent theatre venues, as well as renovated or portable stages. The name of the section indicated that other factors also influence architectural design. The displayed projects, models and projections should have provided an opportunity to explore whether or how new technology, materials, regulations, topological relationships or traditions influence the architectural concept of the theatre structure.
Section with 25 national exhibits was accompanied with a program of lectures of architects, theatre technicians, and other creators who presented their projects and discussed the current trends with students and the professional public.
